1. What data we collect
Profit Compass is a standalone application: the data you enter in the calculators (income, expenses, prices) is stored only in your own browser's local storage (localStorage). We do not send or store this information on our servers, and we do not have access to it.
2. Free trial email
If you start the 3-day free trial, we store your email address and the trial start date in our database only to verify the trial's validity and prevent repeated use. This data is protected by server-side access control and is not publicly accessible.
3. Payment data
When you make a purchase, payment processing and the associated data (name, email, card information) are collected and processed by Paddle.com, acting as Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for that data under its own privacy policy. We do not have direct access to your full card data.
4. Usage analytics
We collect aggregate and anonymous site usage data (pages visited, device type, approximate country) to understand how to improve the product. This information does not identify individual users.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to remember your language preference, theme (light/dark), and free trial state. We do not use advertising tracking cookies.
6. We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
7. Your rights
You can request deletion of your email from our free trial database by writing to soporte@profitcompassapp.com. For requests related to your payment data, contact Paddle directly or write to us and we will help route your request.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Changes will be posted on this same page with their update date.
